T3 Project Manager Meeting - December 10, 2009 (1:30)
PISD Central Office building (upstairs in the large conference room in C&I)
1. Purchasing Equipment Update:
- Additional Professional Development opportunity added (2 half day Promethean Foundation training)
- Waiting for quotes so they can be processed.
- As of today, we are still waiting for member district information.
2. External Evaluator:
- Hand out (Draft Evaluation Plan for the T3 Central Texas Collaborative - an edited document reflecting changes from meeting will be posted)
- Resources for Learning
- Evaluation design will use a stratified sample - final sample selection will be made after districts report teachers and classrooms (form coming)
- TAKS Data of students (reading, math and all tests will be pulled for students in sample)
- Required survey of teachers, parents, and students each year of grant
- Classroom Observations to be conducted by RFL OR by campus principals using RFL instrument - districts will decide approach
- Collaborative creates a rubric to be used to evaluate quality of flipcharts to meet Curriculum Redesign vision
- 1 "rubric reviewed" flipchart created by collaborative by end of grant for each grade level participating in the grant in the area of mathematics
3. Curriculum Redesign Update:
- Due by Friday, Dec. 18th (or sooner)
- Each district submits own to meet individual needs/direction
- "Living document..."
4. Establishing Cohorts
- In-district/campus cohorts established to meet on regular basis (per grant guidelines)
- Colaborative cohorts to meet at TCEA (Robert to talk with Lorraine Harbour for advice)
- Colaborative/District/Campus cohorts to meet/share/colaborate online
5. SETDA Survey
- All but two districts are in
- Due by Friday, Dec. 18th (or sooner)
6. Expenditure Reports
- Due by Friday, Dec. 18th (or sooner)
